Munich

Our second time in Munich was much better than the first. Partly because it was the weekend and there seemed to be live music wherever we went and partly because we rented bikes. Munich is the best city to ride bikes in - it's flat and has bike trails throughout - that alone makes us want to go back.

We took a wrong turn and came across this cemetery. I was hoping for some ghost photos, but no luck.

At the HofbrÀuhaus. Oliver loved the sausages and they had an oompa band. When we went up to see the band up close, the tuba player waved to him and Oliver is now smitten with the tuba and if you ask him what sound it makes, he'll sing "bum bum, bum bum."

This is how we slept every night. He's now back in his crib (for the most part), but it was heaven while it lasted.

At the open air market. We're introducing Oliver an ice cream cone. You'll find out why in a second...

More German sausages.

We bought our lunch at the open air market and brought it to the English Gardens. It was so good I had to take a picture. That's fresh baked bread, a pretzel, three different kinds of ceviche and some strawberries.

Strawberry (strawbuddy) stains.

Little old man in a toddler's body.

OK, back to the ice cream... Oliver has never really liked ice cream (what????). As you can see, he was tentative at first, but now he screams, or rather whines, for ice cream.

Back at the English Gardens.

Hanging onto the rings by himself.

European graffiti (obviously).
