first garden

We started work on the garden yesterday.

Oliver sat under the tree, pointed at ants and said "ew gross," (gwose) which is pretty much his favorite thing to say these days (he also says "yucky," "stinky," "garbage" (gobbage), "don't touch").

We seriously have our work cut out for us, but as you can see Oliver is going to be a huge help.

especially fishy who apparently has lots of fiber in his diet. Seriously. I thought that he had squeezed out his entrails. That's a lot of poop.

BFFs

Wi-eee

Here's some photos from our trip to the museum with Wiley and Elizabeth. These two are so unbelievably cute together.

Wiley helped Oliver get a drink.

It's done.

After a painful and difficult four year labor, I've given birth to this monstrosity.

And now I bequeath it to posterity and can move on with my life.

An Easter Miracle

Fishy the fish was found floating on Good Friday, but today he is risen! ...and his spots were only slightly rearranged by his brief trip to the other side. Wow, what a miracle!

Eggstravaganza

museum

We just bought a season pass to the Museum of Life and Science so you'll be seeing a lot of pictures from there... not that it matters since Oliver will be taking up most of the frame.

When eating Texas grapefruit, it's only appropriate to wear your ten gallon hat.

Oliver has strong feelings for pasta: "Pastah!!! Pastah!!!"

Mommy and Oliver

Look how happy he makes me.

I now get long kisses from my baby boy.

This is what I would look like if I had two toddlers, except I would probably weigh about 40 pounds more and would have much darker rings under my eyes. And, I'd probably be too exhausted and frustrated to relax and enjoy these peaceful moments, so nevermind, this is not what I would look like at all.
