Yesterday I asked Oliver if he wanted something and he responded: "I'd like that very much."

The other day at Oliver's school the kids were watching a trash truck and saying "crush, crush, crush!" Oliver said, "Actually, it's a trash compactor."
These days I am privy to an extraordinary range of costumes and accoutrements. Right now he is playing with a ruler, a silk bag, a stuffed monkey, a plastic rocket launcher and a flashlight. He just said "I have so many things to do today."
It's hot outside, but Oliver has been insisting on wearing a hooded sweatshirt and he keeps the hood up. It has something to do with being a superhero. This is his Burt from Mary Poppins face (the part where he says "My father gave me nose a twist...")
