New words are issuing forth daily... baby, ah ha ha (a la Count von Count), shhhh (with his pointer finger against his front teeth), beads (as in Mardi Gras), ball, mmmm (for cow - derived from moo). He still says hah-t about 45 times a day.

the ever expanding repertoire

Oliver's favorite thing to say is "hot" and he says it with panache. It's more like hah-t, and every time he says it he waves his hand with a flourish. Hah-t has a lot of meanings - it can mean cold, wet, windy or "I just stuck my hand in your coffee and it was lukewarm at best."
Other new words include fish, cheese, tree, boo, meow, bat, blech, and sssss (as in what does a snake say).
He now hugs and kisses (usually open-mouthed, although sometimes he makes kissy noises) and runs up to all the people he loves and throws his little arms around their legs.
Sometimes when Jenny or I are holding him, he puts his head on our chest and says mama with love in his voice.
We used to pride ourselves on our sarcasm but he's turned us into a couple of hopeless saps.
