bye bye Fishy III

This time it was nobody's fault. And so ends the fishy legacy, not with a bang but a whisper.

super super fun

Last night we went to see an Old Ceremony concert on the lawn of the American Tobacco campus. This free concert series is one of the many reasons why we love Durham.

Some sweet, sweet Zoe love.

And a new favorite... Introducing Matt. Matt likes to eat pizza

and play ball. These are two stellar qualities, and really, what more could you want?

grammy...

Grammy is in town for my graduation which means it is a total free for all for Oliver. He is seriously loving it. He wanted to go up some steps and when Grammy tried to help him he said "self" (i.e. "I want to do it myself). He also learned how to say "Mexico" and "Ole," as in "Yes Grammy, I would love to go to Mexico with you."

eating an orange

And speaking of oranges, Oliver knows all of his colors, with the exception of red, which he says is orange. It appears that his favorite color is orange, followed by green, blue and yellow.

Grammy!

How many of you have grandmothers that ride dolphins? This is a picture of grammy riding a dolphin in Cabo San Lucas, and she's promised to take Oliver... guess that means we're going too!

picnic

Examining a snapdragon.

Grandma's house

On the way to Grandma's we drive past the Gaffney peach. Oliver was fascinated and talked about the peach all weekend. "Peach. Shoo." (Translation: we saw a gigantic peach and drove past it very quickly.) This picture gives you a sense of the spectacular scenery that graces the route to Spartanburg.

The peach in all its splendor.

This is the newt that lives in Grandma's backyard.

Setting the newt free.

Free newt.

Grandma's chair.

Grandma's bed.

Grandma's yard.

Driving home.
