Though it's a uniform, if a kid is ever mean to him at school, he chalks it up to jealousy over his "handsome school clothes." This is the gummy bear dance (hunched over, thumbs up, pursed lips), which deserves a post of its own. I've been trying to get a video but he has yet to let me record it. He was just doing it here to thwart this photo shoot.
For a while Oliver didn't want to wear anything but school clothes. Now we're in a pajama phase. We have Woody, Spiderman, Transformers, Buzz Lightyear, Batman, Starman or Nightman, Motocross Racer Man and others. Sometimes he'll wear a jacket on top and you're expected to say "You may think this is Oliver, but this is really..." as you unzip it to reveal the secret identity of the day.

Oliver is now making representational drawings, although I think he still prefers what his girls disdainfully refer to as "scribble-scrabble." This is a picture of Truffula Trees from The Lorax, note the sweet little toe that made its way into the picture.
I thought that this class would be more for me than for Oliver, but he said he liked it as much as tumbling. We will revisit these photos and videos in 2026, when yogi Oliver makes his first pilgrimage to an Ashram in Mysore, India. Of course, I'll be going with him.

Upon meeting baby Zim: "Don't worry, I know everything about babies."
