Aspen

These are photos from my trip to Aspen, where I interviewed at the Aspen Museum of Art. I tried to make the Aspen thing happen, but after banging my head against the wall for a couple of weeks, I turned down the job because the cost of living was RIDICULOUS. But, at the very least, it was a free trip to Aspen and I got to reconnect with my friend Robyn, who I know from Pepperdine. This is a photo of the hill leading up to her house in Snowmass Village. We walked up this hill a few times by moonlight, and the stars were amazing.

This is Robyn and her friend's baby.

Here we are at the fancypants Little Nell after having a $7 beer.

Fourth of July fireworks

Independence Pass and the Continental Divide. The hat I'm wearing says "Ski Patrol, Snowmass Village" on the front, and "Hero" on the back. It was given to Robyn after she saved someone's life. I did not deserve to be wearing it.

Here's Robyn in a t-shirt that reads: "My problem is you!" Check out the American flag get-up on the couple behind her.

And we stopped at a ghost town and met a real live ghost whisperer named Ben.
